Potentially. If relevant information is found on the computer after the case has closed and you did not recommend Computer Forensics at the start of the case you could be found negligent. Given that Computer Forensics is not cost prohibitive, follows all the traditional discovery protocol, is not obtrusive to the operations of business and can find visible and invisible documents it is a potential tool in each and every case.
