Our Team

Ian Finch, BS, GCFA, GNFA, is a Senior Forensic Analyst at ArcherHall. In this role, he is responsible for analyzing, testing and reporting on Electronically Stored Information (ESI) on digital devices from clients, opposing parties, and third parties.

Ian has a deep knowledge of both the technical and the legal aspects of Digital Forensic matters. To assure accurate outcomes, the Scientific Method of Testing is applied to each case. He works closely with clients throughout the forensic process and provides exceptional reporting. This includes memos, verbal report of findings, or written Expert Report. He also provides deposition, hearing and trial Expert Testimony. He takes special interest in malware analysis.

Ian completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Forensic Science from Defiance College in Defiance, OH. He holds the professional designation of GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) through the SANS Institute. He also holds GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) certification.
