Vestige Becomes a CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO)

MEDINA, OH (Jan. 15, 2021) – Vestige Digital Investigations, a leading U.S. cybersecurity company, is pleased to announce they have become a CMMC Registered Provider Organization (RPO).

 The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) developed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to ensure appropriate levels of cybersecurity controls and processes are adequate and in place to protect controlled unclassified information (CUI) on DoD contractor systems.

Registered Provider Organizations (RPOs) are part of the CMMC ecosystem and provide advice, consulting and recommendations to their client contractors. RPOs are required to associate/hire Registered Practitioners (RP), who undergo training provided by the CMMC Accreditation Body (CMMC-AB). This specialized training is designed to provide RP and RPOs with relevant information pertaining to the basic CMMC methodology. RPs and RPOs have expert awareness in service delivery of what it takes to become CMMC certified. Bound by a Professional Code of Conduct, RPOs are Trusted Resources who can guide contractors who wish to maintain their valuable DoD contracts through the journey in becoming CMMC certified.
