2022 Summer Interns at Vestige

MEDINA, OH (May 9, 2022) – Vestige Digital Investigations, a leading U.S. Electronic Evidence Experts company specializing in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity & ESI Services, is pleased to welcome two college interns this summer: Dustin Mobley and Connor Underwood.

Dustin Mobley is originally from Findlay and now resides in Norwalk, OH.  He served in the U.S. Navy for six years where he earned a certificate of completion in Medical Education and Training Command and honorably served as a Hospital Corpsman.  He then attended the University of Maryland University College where he earned an Associate of Arts degree in general studies. He is currently a senior at Tiffin University and is working toward a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice, majoring in Digital Forensics and minoring in Cybersecurity.

Dustin holds CompTIA Security+ and eLearnSecurity Junior Penetration Testing (eJPT) certifications. He is familiar with multiple forensic tools and has strong computer hardware and software troubleshooting skills. Dustin has two assigned projects and will provide a presentation at the end of his term at Vestige.  The first is AWS Network Assessment & Penetration Testing; the second is looking into the CMMC Requirements in Order to Achieve C3PAO Status.

Connor Underwood attended Northwest High School and graduated in 2021. He is currently a sophomore at Walsh University in North Canton, OH where he is majoring in Computer Science with a focus in Cybersecurity. He is assigned a digital forensics project and will provide a presentation on it at the end of his term at Vestige. Connor’s project: Discovering the Difference Where Artifacts are Stored in Windows 10 & 11.

As interns, they will shadow Vestige Digital Evidence Specialists and Forensic Analysts. Dustin & Connor are at Vestige from May 9 to July 29, 2022.
