Ekensten – Vestige Intern

MEDINA, OH (Feb. 15, 2022) – Vestige Digital Investigations, a leading U.S. Electronic Evidence Experts company specializing in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity & ESI Services, is pleased to welcome college intern: Kurt Ekensten.

Kurt hails from Ashtabula, OH.  He is a graduate of Edgewood Senior High School. He is currently a senior at The University of Akron where he is majoring in Digital Forensics. Kurt went on to complete a Certificate Degree in Computer Forensics.  He is also a member of Alpha Phi Sigma, a criminal justice honorary society. He will graduate in May 2022.

Kurt is at Vestige from February 15 to March 23, 2022.  As an intern, he will shadow Vestige Digital Evidence Specialists and Forensic Analysts.  He is also assigned a digital forensics project and will provide a presentation on it at the end of his term at Vestige. Kurt’s project is on: Forensic Preservation of App Discord. He is also utilizing this as his senior project at the UA.
