Whether the organization’s data is stored in cloud-based repositories such as Dropbox, Box.com, ShareFile or other cloud-based storage services, sitting in Amazon S3 buckets, Azure Cloud Storage, Google Cloud, or simply hosted as part of a SaaS-solution, the proper preservation of such data is essential to ensure admissibility. Vestige has developed and adopted techniques that meet or exceed the same standards we employ in forensic collections used in more traditional devices.
Chain of custody is established and maintained just as in more device-driven preservation. Where additional data is available, such as audit logs, access logs and other metadata which may prove useful, Vestige will preserve that as well.
